Bottle at Cardinal. It pours an almost clear body. Some yeasty clouds in the orange-golden body. A small, off-white head sits on top. Slightly oxididized and buttery on the otherwisw fruity and sugary sweet nose. The flavor is sweet, fruity and a bit buttery, some alcohol too. Full body, lots of carbonation and some alcohol warmth. Fruity, buttery finish. Not bad, but both a bit after BB-date and far from the level of Duvel. Didn’t deduct points caused by the date. 101113

Bottle at Cambrinus in Bruges. Pours orange gold with a foamy white head. Light hoppy aroma. Medium minus body with light carbonation. There’s heat. There’s light bitterness. Perhaps lightly spicey. Definitely not strong on any particular flavor, but the combinations render it a bit more than diluted alcohol.

330mL bottle - pours golden with almost no head. Aroma is hoppy and quite sugary. Flavour is orange, citrusy and a bit sweet. Alcohol content is very noticeable. Carbonation is quite high. Not one of the best Belgians as it lacks any real identity, but still refreshing.

Bottle 3cl.Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, citrus, sugar, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. Bottled at Internationella Pressklubben, Stockholm. Cloudy golden, airy head. Medium bodied. Bready with some black currant, ripe fruits, pineaple and alcohol. Fairly straightforwarded, rounded mouthfeel. Low bitterness.

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 9%. Extremely pale yellow colour, huge white head. Strong sweetish aroma with notes of Belgian yeast, ripe fruits (incl. bananas) and spices (incl. cloves). The flavour is moderately spicy and relatively dry, notes of Belgian yeast again, very light bodied and refreshing for its strength (which means that the alcohol is well hidden). Nice, but I’ve had more complex Belgians than this one, though.
