Bottle @ home. Dark golden colour, big white head, lots of carbonation. Aroma of yeast, sour apples, dough, malts. Taste is a bit fruity and sour, dough/malts. Malty and alcoholic bitter finish. Full bodied. Nice strong ale.

10,5 % with the 9% label instead of the one shown in the picture?. Believe that should be corrected. Unclear golden with quick disappearing white head. Aroma of strong spices/yeast/fruit & alcohol. Taste of sweet malts. Warmth from alcohol. Filling smooth body with a medium live carbonation. Pleasant lasting finish. Ok from van steenberge.

Bottle Very clear, yellow body. Off-white large frothy to rocky head. Looks like Duvel. The head diminishes quite fastly. Bit sour and yeasty aroma of mud, dust, dry meat, flowers, pepper, wet wood, rubber, wodka, ... You see I can’t totally find the right aroma, but it’s very dusty (like a dusty attick). So the aroma is not very appealing. Moderately sweet, moderately bitter flavour. A little bit sticky mouthfeel. Quite ok flavour, but alcohol dominates. Hence it’s certainly fully bodied. Not too bad, balance is quite ok, but as you can expect from VS, it’s not very complex nor mindblowing.

Massive soapy head tops a slightly cloudy yellow body. Aroma is a little sour and yeasty. Flavour is sharp at first but develops into a dryer, woodier taste with a little bitterness on the finish.

Huge offwhite coarse lasting head. Faintly hazy yellow body with lots of carbonation. Soft, thin faintly alcoholic aroma of tropical fruits and paradise seeds. Intense spicy tropical fruit and alcohol taste. Considerable alcohol heat. Dry, mealy fruit and dandelion aftertaste. Spicy, hoppy bitterness lingers. Good, but a bit sharp and unbalanced. (0.33l bottle.)

Bottled. Hazy yellow colour with lots of "yeastclouds", big fluffy white head. Hoppy, metallic and very alcoholic aroma. The alcohol stings out almost like vodka aroma. Flavour is yeasty, fruity, glueish and alcoholic. Biting carbonation. Not too pleasant as whole.

Bottled(330ml). –Shared with Doggythedog at the Hopdevil in Zagreb
Hazy yellow coloured, small white head, malty nose. Lively carbonation. Aroma is very hoppy and bready with mild bitter and slight alcoholic finish. Excellent for premium lager, not so good for B.S.A

Sampled from the bottle me and ozujsko commandeered from his girfriend Maja, after she declared she didn’t like it and got herself Gouden Carolus Christmas... can’t say I blame her :) Poured a hazy yellow coloiur with a medium-small white head that went away quickly. The nose is malty, hints of hay, some yeast (not great). The taste is... like a good pale lager. Hops, bready, lemony... umm... dangerously drinkable I guess. Not all that flashy, but servicable indeed.
