On tap at the crown and beaver in North Bay. Hazy golden pour, with a small white head. Aroma is quite lemony, with hints if herbs, and some subtle lavender. Body and mouth feel are clean and crisp, and refreshing. The finish has a subtle sweetness, some pale malts come through, light cracked and more lavender with a bitter lemon oil kick. Interesting.... Not sure I see this as a "tripel" but it’s an interesting attempt at a gruit tripel.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy to cloudy blond color. There is a base beer, an American interpretation of Tripel, sweet, estery and candyish; and then there is the herbal character, the myrtle, that has been generally removed from the brewing world for a reason, and tastes like soap.
Not badly brewed, just a bad idea. Cloying, very cloying.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is very herbal, with all sorts of different earthy herbal notes, like lavender and other floral qualities. Flavour is along the same lines, with floral fruity esters, lavender, earth, as well as Belgian yeast and candied sugar. Unusual stuff but it somehow works really well.

Week 1 release for Febrewary 2017 at the Loon. Pours a hazy light-golden colour with a white cap, good retention and minimal lacing. Beautiful aromas of fresh gruit grassiness with some Belgian Ale yeast and hints of lavender. Lightly bitter, but more on the sweet-side and close to full bodied. Herbal, sweet malt taste with fruity notes. Alcohol is very well-hidden. Wish this one was always available as love this awesome gruit Tripel brew.

A hazed golden gruit with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light candy sugar, light curacao, spices, rosewater, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of candy sugar sweetness, alcohol warmth, light curacao , vanilla, nice if a bit cloying. On tap at Arrow and Loon.
