0.5 bottle. The base beer was extra good, let’s look at the bock-wheat. Completed beautiful. All sorts of shades of unfiltered beautiful wheat beer on a pineapple juice color basis. Large and soft white foam. Orange, banana, yeasty scent, getting better and more intense with warming. It tastes amazing. As it is 'written in the big book'! Where is the big book? I'm writing a five-star in it! Citrus complex flavor, full, full-bodied, yeasty, excessive bread and banana flavor just in the background. It is also very complex, a little sweet. Fantastically delicious wheat beer. 7.7% alcohol doesn’t feel good at all, you’d love to drink more. Extra, outstanding wheat beer !!!

Az alapsör extra jó volt, nézzük a bak búzát. Kitöltve gyönyörű. Mindenféle árnyalata a szűretlen szép búzasörnek, ananászlé szín alapon. Nagy és puha fehér hab. Narancsos, banános, élesztős illat, melegedéssel egyre jobb és intenzív is. Íze csodálatos. Ahogy a nagy könyvben meg van írva! Hol a nagy könyv? Bele írok egy csillagos ötöst! Citrusos komplex íz, telt, testes, élesztő, túlzott kenyeres és banános íz csak a háttérben. Nagyon összetett, picit édeskés is. Fantasztikusan finom búza sör. A 7.7% alkohol egyáltalán nem érződik, többet is szívesen meginnál. Extra, kiemelkedő búzasör!!!

0.5 l bottle from Vrutak, Zagreb. Shared with little Dina and her family. Hazy golden, small lasting off-white head. Aroma is banana, light cloves, lemon juice. Bread. Oranges come forward along with some alcohol. Yeasty. Spicy flavour, fruity, lemony tartness. Smooth. Drinkable, although strong. Dry finish, spicy prickly alcohol warmth lingers.

5o cl bottle served in its proper weizen at Guxtos, Alcalá de Henares, Spain. A huge, long-lasting, mostly lacing, snow-white head over a pale golden pour. Aroma is mostly banana, something quite normal when it comes to Bavarian weissbieren. There's some porridge and a hint of Nivea cream as well. Silky, chewy, sweetish. Bitterless long finish, with renewed banana notes.

This review was imported from my RateBeer ratings.

1 pint 0.9 oz. bottle

AROMA: Sweet with scents of apricot, banana, bubblegum and undertones of lemon.

APPEARANCE: Pours a hazy light-gold with a frothy white head that dissipates slowly.

TASTE: Softly sweet with flavors of banana and a hint of cloves.

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-bodied with a slightly slick, but sticky texture. Carbonation is mild. There is a hint of soft-bitterness in the finish.

OVERALL: I wasn't really sure what to expect from this beer, but I was pleasantly surprised with its overall "softness". And by that I mean, in all aspects (feel, taste, smell, etc.) the attributes always maintained a nice balance and never underwhelmed (e.g. needing to strain your senses just to detect something), nor overwhelmed (e.g. having your senses inflicted with blunt-force trauma). Additionally, I found that the flavor of this beer doesn't really change much as it warms to room temperature. To me, that is impressive, as I've found that most sweet-ish beers tend to get much sweeter as they warm. All-in-all, I can't really find anything to complain about other than I don't have another one waiting for me in the fridge.

Geur is moutig. De smaak is moutig en hoppig maar ebt snel weg.
