Tasting at Ryan's, corked bottle; LOT055, bottled 15 02 2021
Cloudy blond colour. Light Saison and fruit aroma. Dry mouthfeel, not too weak, delicate mixed bag of grains, with mild yeast character, lighr fruity touch.
Simple but pleasant.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Cloudy golden orange with small white head and a tiny bit of sediment. Light bready saison yeast, touch of citrus.

750ml (thx, Alex M.!) @ Ryan's. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: a bit funky, some barrel. Taste: very light, along the same. Overall: ok.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle rustic saison yeast, some tangerine, and bready malt. Flavour is quite fruity, with tangerine, some saison yeast, and bready malt. Doesn't have much farmhouse character, and finishes on the sweeter side. It's alright—a little underwhelming.

Au nez, les Bretts se dégagent tout en douceur, s’accompagnant d’un léger fruité rappelant les fruits à chair blanche. Les notes fermières rappellent le vieux cuir, le foin et l’étable. Les phénols sont cependant assez discrets. Une grosse mousse rocailleuse sur un liquide doré jaune plutôt pale et voilé. En bouche, les notes fermières sont présentes mais douces et s’accompagnent d’un léger citronné. L’effervescence est active et la pousse dans la catégorie ‘’bières de soif’’. Le houblonnage nous donne une impression terreuse. Bien atténuée et sèche en finale J’aurais préféré des phénols plus présents mais elle demeure une excellente bière de table bien rafraichissante.
