Kasteel Blond is beautifully balanced with hop bitters and malty aromas. The hints of fruit from the yeast are reminiscent of citrus fruits. The beautiful balance makes the beer mild in the aftertaste and is therefore an excellent thirst-quencher.

Flesje gedronken dat 10 jaar over t.h.t. was.
Troebel bruinig bier met wonderlijk genoeg toch nog een beetje schuim.
Weinig aroma; beetje houtig.
Smaak is licht moutig.
Licht bittere nasmaak ebt snel weg.

Ik heb niet de indruk dat deze fles op de juiste wijze bewaard is gebleven.

At home, Lausanne, a classical Belgian Blonde, regular, not extraordinary, but it makes the job, sugar, malt, coriander, some hop. 25.10.2018, buying this beer at Paris, Place de l'Aligre.

Pours a clear golden with a decent white head. Aroma of malts, yeast, biscuit, fruit, a faint sense of spice. A rather ordinary blonde, not a fan.

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness. Pours a clear orange-gold, moderate sized white head, decent retention. Aroma of sweetness, yeast, fruity pear and banana. Taste of yeast, lemon, pear and a herbal bitterness with a background of a rather basic grainy malt. Medium bodied with zingy carbonation. Decent overall.

Golden with a large foamy yellow white head that lingered and left great lacing. Sweet, perfumey and citric. Long finish. Medium body.
