This beer is original for the style, really sweet, powerful side of oak, bready, caramel, few hop, original one, 06.03.17, buying it at one coop, tasting it at Prélaz, Lausanne.

Old rating from 2017 - 330ml bottle, picked up from the brewery, on my 6 country road trip. Poured at home in Jersey. It's amber / caramel colour with a white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, dried fruits, honey, wood, earth & sweet malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish

Ein holzfassgereiftes Bier, das mir wirklich gut gefallen hat. Es hat feine torfige Noten und keinen muffigen Holzgeschmack. Es erinnert leicht an einen guten Whiskey und überfordert auch nicht den ungeübten Bierfreund. Ein angenehmes Getränk.

Aus der Flasche im 2014-06 getrunken. Dieses leckere, dunkle Bier mit einer sehr hintergründigen Rauchnote, die an den hauseigenen Säntis Malt - Dreifaltigkeit erinnert. Spannend!

F: big, off-white, average retention. C: hazy, orange/amber, non-transparent. A: malt, woody, hint of fruity, floral. T: sweet malt, hint of woody tones, caramel, herbal, sweet bready, only decent bitterness, interesting and good, medium body, normal carbonation, 33cl bottle from Coop in shopping centre Serfontana in Morbio Inferiore in Switzerland.

Fles meegenomen van vakantie. Licht amber kleurig helder bier met weinig aroma. Smaak licht sprankelend en houtachtige. Weinig nasmaak.
