0,5 l bottle from Trinkgut, Hohenlimburg. BB 16.05.26. Clear red brown in the glass, short light tanned head. Soft malty aroma with nuts and some dark bread. Taste starts increasing malty, dark bread, nuts, some sweetness in the background. Soft bitterness. Below average carbonation. Easy to drink.

500ml bottle from trade with sinh4. Many thanks chap. Clear amber, large off-white head. Aroma has lightly sweet malt with caramel glimpses. Very light on the palate, fairly thin bodied, pleasant enough caramel malt to taste, very light nutty brown bread and honey suggestions.. overall fine for the style.

A fruity, even a bit malty sweet kind of alt. The normal bitterness that can be found in the traditional Düsseldorfer alts just isn’t there. A bit hopbitter aftertaste, that’s all. Still, this beer tastes good. Bottle from Dortmunder.

Sampled from tap at ’Vormann Brauereiausschank’. Clear, dark brownish amber with a medium large, slightly creamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, malty aroma of nuts, caramel and some bread. Quite sweet, malty and slightly roasty taste of caramel, toasted nuts and burnt bread, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally roasty finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

A fine clear nutty color with a off white head on top that soon ends up in a layer. Bready and nutty aroma with an ok intensity. Medium body and a fine carbonation. A fine bitterness and quite semi dry texture. Bready, nutty, herbal and malty flavor. Decent ok alt bier.

Thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Starts mild, fine malty, dry, modest roasty. Some nutty notes. Finish milder, but not washy. Well balanced. Nice!
