Can that pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a big frothy white cap, long retention and some nice creamy-foamy wave lacing. Grassy, herbal hoppy nose with hints of citrus, mostly oranges. The taste is where the rye (seigle) shines, with it grainy spiciness. The hops are also better balanced in the mouth with this. A little piney, citrus and grassy. The mouthfeel is somewhat on the dry side. Nice to see a stronger APA with some rye spicy action. Very good first experience from this brewery.

Bottle from Chez Ben. Clear medium gold with a large fluffy white head that lingers leaving spotty lace. Nose is light bread, green apple, citrus, resin, hibiscus. Light+ caramel and fruit sweetness with a light+ grass and citrus bitterness. Mouth is medium with average carbonation and a crisp finish. Not particularly 'juicy', but OK. 7/3+/7-/3/13+

A hazed golden pale ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with loads of citrusy pulp, light treacle, light butterscotch, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with resinous floral hops, tropical fruit, pleasant. On tap at brewery.
