50 cl swing-top bottle. Dark beer, coca-cola color, average light beige head. Aroma: light roasted malts, burnt wood. Taste is fairly bitter for the style, average carbonation, dry finish. Simple schwarzbier.

500ml fliptop from Wine and Cheese. Pours very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of dark malt, and maybe treacle. Or cola! Med body at least. There’s a slight burn from something, there’s a hint of grape, and there’s a touch of chocolate and some very roasty darkish malt. Rather fresh. Somewhat fruity. And it leaves my tongue all prickly. Nice drink.

Bottle. Clear brownish maroon color, tan head. Aroma of toasted caramel. Taste is sweet roasty caramel. OK.

Black with average head. Aroma: at first a lot of hops. Then loads of black coffee. Average bitterness. Little bit of sourness. Medium carbonated with a bit of astringency on the finish. Very good and drinkable beer.

Dosc dobre piwo jak na schwarzbiera. Nie jest przesadnie slodki, a karmel jakby dobrze zrumieniony i podpalony. Kolor brazowo rubinowy, piana fajna srednia ale trwala. Ladna etykieta i tradycyjne zamkniecie. W koncowce nawet jest leciutko wytrawne to piwo. Bardzo mile mnie zaskoczylo, bardzo przyjemne w piciu.

Botella de 50 cl de el c. Inglés. Tomada por ultima vez en octubre de 2009 (fecha de cons pref para antes de 05-02-2010). color negro con buena capa de espuma. Sabores y aromas maltosos y de cereales ligeramente tostados con toques dulces. Cuerpo ligero a medio con 4.9 vol, fácil de beber. Normal.

Pour is a darkish red with a huge tan head. Aroma is an ok dark malt but also some wet paper bag malt. Flavor is not much of a roasted malt but a almost flat dull malt. No hops and really bland. I don’t know if these beers are old or have gone bad but they are way to bland and watery. Much better being made of these styles right in my own back yard.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein sehr dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, erdig, leicht süß, schokoladig. Geschmack röstmalzig süß, trocken, leicht schokoladig.
