Shared bottle. Reddish brown with off white head that leaves a lot of lacing. Sweet milk chocolate, quite yeasty, brown sugar, very nice underlying herbal hops. Light side of medium bodied with watery feel and slight prickly carbonation. Not bad.

750ml bottle at home. almost black color, big tan head, smell of chocolate, light coffee, mulberry, very light smoky, roasty note. medium body, slick, light bubbly, tste of mulberry, light roasty, chocolate, light roasty finish. good but a bit uneventful.

@BKL13. Sehr dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Kaffee, erdig. Geschmack nach Schokolade, Kaffee, Röstmalzig, süß.

Tap at BKL 2014. Murky brown, nice creamy head. Bitter chocolate nose, some herbal play. Medium body, sparkly mouthfeel. A bit roast and chocolate, nice aromatics in the finish. slightly subdued overall, but easy drinkable.

Dark brown with a large beige head. Aroma had roasted malt, milk chocolate and coffee. Flavour was sweet wit roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Finished sweet with a slight roastyness. Not bad.

Brown colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, cacao, light raisins. Sweet flavour, malts and cola. Rather thin, but OK for the ABV. Finish chocolate and somewhat cloying sweet.

Bottle shared by Joes. Pitch black color, medium sized fairly dense beige head. Smell malts, caramel, chocolate malts, slightly sweet. Taste malts, caramel, chocolate, bitter. Very balanced, soft carbonation, medium body.

Bottle @ joes. Dark brown to black colour with a small off-white head. Smells some chocolate, some raisins, sweetish, roasty, coffee. Tastes roasty, sweet, slightly coffee. Not a lot of chocolate. Quite a thin body (slightly watery), carbo is nice.
