500ml bottle from the lcbo. Clear copper pour, small off white head. Slightly skunky aroma, loads of fuggles and goldings upfront, with some citrus and pine resin. Very strong pithy bitterness with a good balance of biscuity malts. A nice British style ipa using West coast techniques with UK hops.

Bottiglia.

Pours a slightly hazy bright golden with an average sized white head that shows good enough retention and nice lacing. Fairly potent aroma. A light grainy malts base followed by a rather interesting hop profile: citric and tropical fruit notes, plus a flowery, more kind of english-style ipa feel. In the taste: medium sweetness and medium to high bitterness, with an excellent dry, bitter finish that leaves a clean mouth and makes you longing for another sip. Taste notes as per aroma, though maybe a bit less bright. Medium bodied with average carbonation, very easily drinkable with a very nice clean finish (as already mentioned). Not especially deep, but well made and highly refreshing. Finishes too quickly. A good one.
