Pours a dark brown colour, almost black, with light ruby highlights. The warm-beige head starts off fizzing away, but then calms down, leaving a nice, frothy. coating on the brew. Raspberry aromas with mineral notes, over the roasted malt base. Light chocolate does come out with time, blending things better. A mouthfeel that is a little more on the thin side, with the drying finish. Not syrupy at all. Nor too sweet, or fruity in the taste. Mild raspberries with the roasted barley, some coffee notes, and a touch of candy, berry lingering with hints of oats. A decent Dry Stout with the added raspberries that makes it easy drinking.
