A blend of 7 grains, 3 hop strains and a late infusion of elderflower: This aromatic IPA was named by Scott's daughter. It pours a deep gold with aroma's of elderflower and citrus hops, followed by sweet caramel. On the tongue the biscuity malts are perfectly balanced with the bitterness of the hops, with a lingering floral elderflower aftertaste.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a small, white head. Citrusy, piney and fruity nose with malty, bready aromas. Some peaches in syrup too. Nice hoppy flavors and a fine bready maltyness and caramel. Some flowers too maybe? Medium to full body. The finish is on the hoppy side with citrus-peel and bitterness. A quenching and easy drinkable beer, but nothing outstanding. (090430)

Bottle from Tescos at Brooklands, Surrey. Golden pour with a medium white head. Hoppy and dry with hints of grapefruit and lemon. Very crisp and fresh and great to drink on a warm spring afternoon such as today. Similar to a weaker American IPA. Easy to drink beer from Scotland.

500ml Bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki) - Amber in colour. Hoppy aroma with some grapefruit notes. Hoppy taste with some grapefruit notes featuring again. It is hoppy but reasonably well balanced. Enjoyable. 3.5 Update - 2013. Very refreshing, with lemon, orange peel and elderflower standing out. Really enjoyable. 3.8

Bottled (BBE 06/2010). Pale amber color, small, mostly vanishing white head. Nutty hoppy, a bit toffeish nose. Hard mouthfeel. Woody malty flavor, underlying diacetylic notes. Boring and watery brew. More an pale ale/bitter than an ESB. Beerβs recipe is more exciting in theory than in practise.

500ml bottle from Tesco, Andover. Bright copper with a thin cream head and light carbonation; fragrant toffee aroma; full chewy malt flavours - very pleasant, not too sweet; and a clean finish. Very drinkable.
