A blend of 7 grains, 3 hop strains and a late infusion of elderflower: This aromatic IPA was named by Scott's daughter. It pours a deep gold with aroma's of elderflower and citrus hops, followed by sweet caramel. On the tongue the biscuity malts are perfectly balanced with the bitterness of the hops, with a lingering floral elderflower aftertaste.

500ml bottle from Tesco, Byfleet. Attractive looking completely clear copper colour. Thin off white head, that lasts. but throws little lacing. Elderflower hoppy aroma, really is very hedgerow and rather pleasing. It’s got some fullness in the mouth, some dryness, some definite lemon zesty peel and a bit more elderflower. Really quite stinging in the finish. Pleasant? Yes, a good strong bitter with some lovely elderflower overtones. Would love to try this on cask and get the full effect. The filtering has neutered the malts somewhat and given it that metallic carbonation. Still a decent and flavoursome beer.

Copper-coloured beer with small, but persistent head & small, but textbook rings. Discreet but distinct cakey, grapey hops, orange marmalade, slightly grassy. Good balance, between some aromatic, not very bitter hops and good caramelly malts. Bit of toffee even - hopped toffee? Light body, not very long-lasting aftertaste. Bottle 50cl.Clear medium yellow amber color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lancing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate hoppy, herbs, flowers - elderberryflowers, citrus. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Bittenes is green elderberyy bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (180508)

Bottle, Tesco, Birkenhead. Copper colour with a minimal white head. Aroma was sweet , verging on the sickly, with a dose of hop and fruit. Flavour was on the sweet side too with peach and grapefruit in there jostling with the hops. Dry bitterish finish. Not bad at all.

Bottled at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. An unclear copper colored beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with quite strong notes of spices. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and hay.

(50 cl bottle at Haket, Göteborg)BB Aug 2009On June 4, 2008Clear copper color, white head. Elder flower and sweet malty sugary scent. Dry grainy, malty and bitter taste. Some strange fruitiness in the aftertaste, chemical somehow. Moussy mouthfeel, medium a bit sharp bitterness.
