Can from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Nicely peated aroma with roasted malt, chocolate, oak, iodine, whiskey, and alcohol. Fairly bitter, moderate sweet. Medium to full body. Bit of that Kees sharpness, roasty and peaty. Good, not great.

Can. Pitch black colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is toasted malts, liquorice, alcohol and some slight toffeeish tones. Flavour is floral, roasted, mild alcohol, peat and some whisky tones. Smooth and nice sipper.

33cl can from Etre Gourmet web shop. F: medium, tanned, almost good retention. C: dark, opaque. A: rich dark malts, cocoa, chocolate, bit woody, bit spicy, caramel, bit medicinal. T: full malty base, cocoa, chocolate, bit vinous, caramel, bit coffee, dark dried fruits, woody, soft carbonation, quite nice, taste is better than aroma.

Can. Black. Caramel, peat and whisky in the aroma. Malty roasty flavor with peat, oak and whisky. Not too sweet, fairly low on carbon. Full bodied. Caramel. Dry finish. Nice.
