hazy dark brown pour with a dark beige head.
Herbal aroma, lavender, and coriander stand out, with some dark brown sugar sweetness. Very full mouth feel, and a very soft carb. slightly tart finish, low bitterness with a big herbal finish. The finish is big on thyme and rosemary notes, very earthy. Interesting stuff.

Gylden brun klar med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter honning, maltekstrakt og noe syltetøy. Middels minus i fylde. Søtlig, honning, blomster, maltig karamell. Kort. Noe oljete.

Bottle from the LCBO. Clear medium gold with a slow fading two finger off white head. Nose is very floral with some light lemon and honey. Flavour is lightly sweet toffee and a just lightly more pronounced bitterness along with a hint of pepper. Mouth is medium- and slick with slightly soft carbonation. Finish is moderate with spice lingering over the bitterness. This is quite pleasant and subtle . 7/3+/8/3+/15-

Bien que la note attribuée soit moyenne, je n’hésiterais aucunement à en acheter à nouveau. Le produit est bon et différent. C’est assez fruité mais peu amer. On goûte vraiment très bien les différents ingrédients substituts du houblon.

Enjoyed at the Hintenburg Public House. Part of the FeBREWary month. Pours a hazy golden colour with a creamy warm cap, good lacing and retention. Fruity herbal aromas from the gruit with notes of gooseberries. Same for the start of the taste, but has a grainy finish with hints of vanilla. A nice refreshing fruity traditional ale.

A hazed golden amber gruit with no head. In aroma, loads of honey and vanilla extract, cloves, ginger, rather sweet. In mouth, a sweet light watery beverage with light grassy notes, honey, ginger, watery and plain. On tap at Arrow and Loon.
