33cl Can at some beers with Jim Green. Black colour, beige head. Green apple solvent smell escapes the can as soon as it's opened. Not much else in the aroma. Flavour of old wood, loads of green apples, solvent, booze, hint of roast. Where the hell did the Bowmore go? No peat, no smooth whisky, green apple booze is all that's left. Keep joking about it Kees. It's a bloody shame.

Can at Den Haag in Zaandam tasting. Black with little greyish head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts. Massive green apples, sorry Kees, very rusty oxidized and appley peat. Gluey, nail polish remover. Alcoholic. Roasty, apple syrup. Big sweet and bitter. Full body and soft carbonation.

Can at the Jim Green Returns tasting, Zaandam. Poured a clear dark brown colour with little life. The aroma is roasty malt, peaty, boozy alcohol, vanilla, red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich, oily, smooth, boozy, dry hop liquorice, light floral palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Good enough, does what's expected. Good base stout, plenty of Bowmore, some beer remains in the flavor. Heavy, boozy, coffee, whisky. Kees delivers.
