Ja, dit is toch wel smakelijk gelukkig, ondanks alle slechte verhalen over de Kees barrel projects de laatste tijd

Can at home. Pours black, nose is toffee, caramel, meaty, chocolate, light smoke, taste is similar, a little soapy, way too gentle for bowmore barrels.

Can 330ml (Beerdome)
Opaque colour, small off-white head. Toasted malts, peat and some wood. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Roasted, some alcohol, peat and whisky. Woody element is there but less than in the nose. Nice.

deep dark brown colour, minimal creamy beige head; aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, licorice, whisky, green apple, smoked and peat notes; taste has the same notes with some syrupy sweetness (which is obviously pushed to the backgroudnd by the roasted-smokey-whisky-like notes); really enjoyable imperial stout

0.33 l can from 'Ace Drinks'. Black, no head at all. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty, slightly boozy and a little smoky aroma of praline, coffee, licorice, toasted nuts, some green apple and hints of peat. Quite sweet, malty, gently roasty taste of praline, coffee, licorice, green apple, seaweed, peat and iodine, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, slightly boozy and a bit ashy-medicinal finish. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, almost flat. Not Kees' best beer at all, but there have been worse. It's not flawless due to noticeable green apple flavours but it's not totally unpleasant as well.

Can. Black pour, no head. Aroma of chocolate, scotch, mild smoke, vanilla and licorice. Taste of smoke, chocolate, green apple, licorice, caramel, vanilla, tarr and burned caramel. Peat is hard to detect and there is no carbonation whatsoever, is something wrong? It's not bad, but bowmore usually tastes different, something feels off.
