(printemps 2006)

On tap at Le Cheval Blanc, pours hazy amber wit a medium beige head. Aroma of dry caramel malts, earthy notes and some fruitiness. Flavour of berry-like dark fruits upfront, some dry caramel malts and earthy hops. Fairly full-flavoured considering the style and ABV, and very well-balanced. Quite drinkable.

A caramel colored beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, combined with some notes of wood. The flavor is very dry malty with notes of caramel, wood, and nutmeg, before a spicy dry end sets in.

Ligh gold in colour, with nice malty nose, biscuity. Nice malt in mouth with a cookie taste, little hops. Very classic amber like the old brewpub used to do back in 1990. (tasted at the BP in Dec. 2003)
