2008 Cask. A hazed brown ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a smooth treacle malt with light vinous notes, woody, light licorice. In mouth, a nice woody malt with licorice, wood extract, herbal hops, nice and smooth. On tap at St-Bock’s 5th Anniversary, Oct. 15 2011.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is mild chemical metallic and fruity. Yeasty, phenolic, fruity and chemical. Dry malty, yeasty and caramelish. Mild citric and milky yeasty finish.
