Pours a clean copper-amber colour with a beige head, decent stay and some sticky lace. Very sweet nose with some dark fruits (prune, dates), coffee, molasses and mild roasted malt. The taste is thankfully not too sweet with the hops balancing things. The coffee notes are still present. Even though sweet, the honey is overpowered by other notes. An interesting, good winter beer.

Premier test des trois nouvelles bières disponibles... Mes dernières tentatives avec ce brasseur étaient plutôt agréables et celle-ci l’est tout autant. Un nez timide de grains grillés, prunes séchées et café se dégage d’une mousse fine également timide. En bouche, le miel donne vraiment une belle rondeur. Il y a un arrière-goût de dessert au café et une pointe de vanille. J’ai bien aimé ;-)

A dark brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet nutty caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, roasted notes, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity nutty caramel malt with light grassy hops, light coffee grind, light mineral notes, decent brown ale, not bad.
