Pinkish-purplish color, pink head. Aroma was a nice true fresh raspberry. Flavor a little more raspberry syrup and lightly tart beer. Pretty dry, almost to the point of lacking body, but at 5.5% it’s cool.

On tap at Crooked Stave, pours a cloudy bright red with a small pink head. Aroma brings out fresh raspberries, some pith and moderate acidity. Flavour is juicy and tart, with lots of fresh raspberries, moderate pucker, and gentle acidity on the finish. Fresh fruit and moderate pucker on the finish.

375 ml shared by Heather_B, thanks much. Cloudy reddish color with soft level of carbonation. Light raspberry, rustic grain, mild acid aroma. Taste is softly sour, mostly mild tart, raspberry is balanced by sour wheat.
Tartness is mild with a decent amount of berries. The mouthfeel is nicely tart. Pretty damn nice overall.

My bottle says 4.5% abv.
I opened my near room temperature bottle and it started to gush. Lost not a drop.
Dark red liquid with, initially, a big head of pink foam. That died down leaving some islands and a ring around the glass.
I smell raspberries that are tart, the woody notes from the oak and mild funk.I needed to take really deep whiffs to pull out the last one.
Diving into the tastes now and my palate is hooked. The delicate tartness is in no way coming across as artificial. There’s a sour thing going on as well..akin to what a wine’s tannins bring to that beverage. Woody oak notes round off of what I would call a fine drinking experience. All at 4.5% abv.
Light bodied and a bit bit watery in the finish but that’s a minor gripe.
More than worth the $7.50 I paid. Oh, I almost forgot to mention. Mild horseblanket in the taste. 7
