Never was a fan of this brewery in the past, so lets hope 13 years made them better. Pours a real dark amber colour with a warm-beige head, good stay and some nice creamy lacing. Aromas of roasted/caramel malts with nice grassy hops, orange zest and some molasses. A lot of the same for the taste. Some dark fruits blending everything else. Probably my favorite from them, ever. If it wasn’t for their bad labels, with non-sharp lettering, this could change things for this brewery.

Bottle: Poured a dark hazy brown color ale with a small foamy head with minimal a retention and light lacing. Aroma of residual sugar with light toffee and caramelized malt is good. Taste is a mix of residual sugar with some caramelized cereal notes with light unrefined grainy notes with some toffee notes also noticeable. Body is light with medium to low carbonation and light warming alcohol notes are apparent. Not bad but falls short of some of the best example of the style.
