La Moussaillon est une bière blanche au thym-citron. Le côté épicé de la levure vient s’agencer avec les délicates notes de thym, alors que le côté citronné, du thym-citron et verveine citronnée, contribue à faire un breuvage rafraîchissant parfait pour les longues journées de plage de nos étés gaspésiens.

Pours a hazy golden colour with amber hue, from the unfiltered particles floating all around. The beer overflows and keeps on coming. Foamy head with the particles in it, lasting forever with some lacing that eventually come. Fresh thyme aromas with hints of mint and lemon. The taste is less thyme, but the lemon notes with light witbier yeast. Some decent mild hops in the finish. Pretty interesting spiced witbier.

Bottle: Poured a light yellow color ale with a rather large pure white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of light wheat malt with some subtle lemon notes. Taste is also dominated by medium wheat malt with light lemony notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Thyme notes are not easily discernible and doesn’t play a major role. Overall, light witbier that pale in comparison to other beers from the style.

Très rafraîchissante quoique un peu acidulée... L’arrière-goût est très différent ce que l’on a au départ. Bonne mais pas super.
