Bottle at home. Almost black with small light brown head that disappeared quickly and left an oily film. Black berries, some sweet chocolate, blueberries, tart red fruits, wood, English hops, licorice, slight earthy, chalk. Under medium sweet and sour. Over medium bodied with oily feel and low carbonation. Messy and probably something went a bit wrong here, but actually it’s drinkable.

Opaque dark brown beer, thin pale tan head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy dark malts, quite a fruity tang. Mild dark chocolate. Thin dry malt cream. Nice mellow citric hop and tangy dark fruits. Light dry finish, bitterish linger. Nice porter.

330ml bottle bought at Alko Stockmann. Bubbly tan-coloured head over a deep rosewood coloured body. Fair lacing. Mocha coffee and liquorice on the nose. Compact taste profile of dark honey sweetness and dark fruits with a backdrop of coffee and pine needles towards the finish. Smooth, warming and nice (hotel room, Helsinki 25.09.2015).

Bottled at Post-PBF, Vaasa. Near black, small beige head. Lemony licorice aroma. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Solid, but syrupy with plenty of licorice, honey and black pepper. Lemon and tobacco, earth and syrup. Warming finish.
