Disappointing, especially at 9% abv. There was almost no nose to the bottle I sampled. The body was a bit thin, but strikes a reasonable hop and caramel malt balance. The alcohol is well masked, I will say that.

Bomber, 5/30/15. Clear dark brown, large foamy tan head, decent retention. Aroma of caramel, toffee, dark fruits. The taste is caramel, toffee, dark fruits, a hint of earth. Medium bodied.

Split a 22oz with friends. Poured a red/brown color with a light tan head. Aroma was some sweet malts, touch nut, some caramel. Flavor was caramel nut character, with sweet malts. Alcohol found in the finish.

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark nut brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized creamy tan head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet toasted caramel, cherry, plum and a bit of wood. The flavor was tangy cherry, plum, caramel, cola and pear. Medium length tangy finish with lingering fruit and caramel. Medium body. Solid.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours ruddy dark brown with a creamy (small) beige head. Aroma of dark red fruits over some roast malt. Med body. I’m thinking this is fruit of the red sort over some chocolate cola. That’s just gotta be wrong. But it suggests that. So what’s wrong with chocolate cherry cola? Smooth. Excellent texture. Tasty. Mildly challenging. It finishes slightly on the malty side. It’s sort of malt/dry/light malt. Anyway it’s good stuff.

Pours mahogany-tinged black into a thistle. Mocha head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing to skim surface. Sweet smoked malt aromas. Thin with dark pit fruit upfront turning to a sweet smoky burn finish.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of kramer17801. Pours a warm, clear orangey brown with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of caramel and wood. Medium-bodied, notes of caramel and fruit, a little wood - perhaps even whisky? The finish is dry with some alcohol. Nice one. 190408

Bottled. An unclear orange-brown beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with strong notes of fruit as well as medium notes of alcohol and honey and a light touch of wood. The flavor is sweet mlaty with notes of over ripe fruits, alcohol, and honey.

Blind tasting at Papsoes place, another great session, thanks Henrik! Beer #12: Pours hazy brown/amber with a diminished off white head. Overripe fruity and malt aroma. Light acidic touch. Flavour is dry woody and caramel malt. Light fruity sweet flavour with a light roasted malt note following. Ends fruity and caramel malt sweet.
