X Cata ratebeer Asturias en el kraken 07..05..2017. (r62). Botella 66 cl. BR2 aňo 2014. Color negro intenso brillante con espuma beige oscuro persistente con fina capa. Aromas y sabores maltosos intensos tostados con grandes dosis de maderas viejas bien empapadas en bourbon. Gran sensación licorosa desde el inicio combinada muy bien con las maderas empapadas y la sensación alcohólica. Ligeros dulces melosos y maderas. Ligeros cacaos y sensación de lactosa. Cuerpo intenso con gran sensación alcohólica algo seca y ligero amargo final seco con toques más quemados que acaramelados de bourbon. Una gran cerveza, para repetir sin duda alguna.

650ml bottle at Alex’s. Ppurs a very dark dark with a dark beige head. Aroma is very fruity, barrel, some bourbon and chocolate. Taste is smooth, similar to the aroma, slightly hot. Chocolate, bourbon, barrel, hoppy and roasted bitterness aftertaste. Very nice.

Black color with compact brownish head. The aroma is mostly woody (plain lumber), lightly piney and roasty, mild ashes, tobacco. The mouthfeel is very smooth, one of the smoothest among the series, dark chocolate, mild residual sweetness, delicate bourbon, rhubarb candies.

Bottle - Vintage 2014 - Big woody barrel notes and roast malts. Huge bourbon notes. Jet brown with a decent light brown head. Woody, dark malts, sweet and a long bitter woody notes. Nice.

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, boozy stout with fruity esters, check chocolate malt, grassy hops, wet grass, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of alcohol warmth, bourbon barrel, woody notes, licorice, complex and beautiful. Bottle at Big Matt’s Eclipse tasting.

Den Haag tasting at Maakun’s. Bottle courtesy of Kvn. Vintage 2014. Dark brown, tan head. Boozy bourbon and thick dark chocolate, vanilla, dark fruit notes, heavy coffee notes. Sweet with nice smooth coffee bitter. Light fizz thick body fruity alcoholic soft smooth finish.

Bottle shared thanks to Kevin. Almost black with very small light brown head. Lots of bourbon and vanilla, coffee, lots of roasted malts, sweet red fruits, dried apple, burnt toast, dark palm sugar, cognac. Pretty sweet but nicely balanced with a thick roasted bitterness. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

22oz bottle thanks Spence. nose is lots of bourbon barrel vanilla brown sugar booze rich roast malts. Taste is more of the roast malts bourbon barrel vanilla brown sugar and some smoke. Very nice
