great citrucy hops, and some nice grainy malts. more grassy citruc hops in the flavor and finish. a nice beer.

Dégustée en fût sur place sous le nom « Pale Ale Américaine ». De couleur ambrée-orange et claire. Nez de houblon moyennement citrique, légèrement floral et aux notes herbeuses et résineuses, malté de caramel doux avec des notes de grains de céréales rôties et léger de fruits (agrumes, traces d’abricots). Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et aux notes croustillantes ainsi qu’une texture légèrement crémeuse. Goût moyennement amer de houblon citrique (pamplemousse) et notes florale (une amertume présente en arrière-goût toute la gorgée) accompagné d’un moyen goût fruité (agrumes, petites notes d’abricots) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût malté de caramel doux ainsi qu’un goût de grains de céréales aux notes rôties puis en finale l’amertume revient en avant-plan en étant asséchante, légèrement herbeuse avec des petites notes terreuses et de faibles traces résineuses. Post-goût long-moyen et un peu sec, moyennement amer de houblon citrique aux notes florales et herbeuses ainsi qu’avec un léger goût fruité (zest d’agrumes). (printemps 2007)

On tap at Benelux, Montreal - 04/03/12. Pours a copper gold in colour with a small white head. Pine, citrus and hops dominate the aroma. Upfront hops and malt in the flavour. Light to medium bodied with a good level of carbonation. I enjoyed this after 2 dull pints in 3 Brasseurs!

Draft: Poured a light clear copper color ale with a small foamy head with OK retention. Aroma consists of well balanced West Coast hops provide bitter and lightly citrus notes. Taste is a refreshing mix between some lightly citrus notes with bitter hops and a light caramel malt base. Very refreshing with hops balance providing for great drinkability factor. This is one I wouldn’t mind having again.

Rated as Pale Ale Américaine on Dec. 23 2006. An orange amber ale with a thin off white head, lacing. A pleasant aroma of floral hops, lightly resinous, with light sustaining malt. In mouth, a light hoppy ale, with floral hops, resinous finish, crisp malt, light grapefruits. Good little pale ale.
