Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with limited retention. Aroma of lightly sweet cereal notes is quite bland. Taste is a mix of lightly sweet cereal notes with some light overcooked vegetable notes. Body is about average with medium carbonation. Too much of the overcooked vegetable notes to be truly enjoyable.

Not that bad for a lager. I just got off the Megabus in Montreal and walking towards Dieu Du Ciel drinking the first thing I found in the Depanneur that came with a paper bag.

Bouteille 341ml. De couleur dorée et très faiblement voilée. Nez de grains de malt pâles et sucrés avec des notes de butterscotch ainsi que des traces de fruits (agrumes), de houblon herbeux et de maïs sucré. Mince-moyenne en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture aux petites notes huileuses. Goût de grains de malt pâles avec de faibles traces fruitées (agrumes) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute des notes de butterscotch ainsi que des traces de pain et de maïs sucré puis en finale l’on retrouve de faibles notes de houbon herbeux (herbes mouillées) avec des traces de légumes bouillis sucrés. Post-goût moyen-court, composé de faibles notes de houblon herbeux avec un léger résiduel de grains sucrés.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, fruity esters and Belgian yeasts, herbal and crisp, lightly off. In mouth, a grassy peppery malt with fruity notes, herbaceous character, like a home brew i did a long time ago....amateurish!
