Brown bottle, 341 ml, purchased at Broue Ha Ha savoured on February 16, 2012; eye: bronze, clear, slight effervescence, tiny beige head that turns into a tiny ring, light lacing; nose: malt, sugar, slight fruity, slight hops; mouth: malt, sugar, slight fruity, slight hops, light unpleasant acridness, finale in malt with light presence of hops, medium body, good carbonation, lightly sweet, slightly bitter, slick texture; overall : ordinary FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 341 ml, achetée chez Broue Ha Ha, savourée le 16 février 2012; œil : bronze, limpide, très légère effervescence, petite mousse beige qui se transforme en un mince anneau, légère dentelle; nez : malt, sucre, très léger fruité, très léger houblon; bouche : malt, sucre, très léger fruité, très léger houblon, légère âcreté déplaisante, finale en malt avec légère présence de houblon, corps moyen, bonne carbonatation, légèrement sucrée, très légèrement amère, texture coulante; en résumé : ordinaire

Bottle: Poured a deep amber color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of candi sugar and fruity ester is quite charming. Taste is a nice balance mix between some candi sugar notes with some fruity ester and solid malt backbone with light dry fruits. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very well brewed with nice drinkability/complexity level.

From tap at Broue Pub Brouhaha. Pours hazy dark orange with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty and light caramelish. Phenolic and spiced flavoured. Bitter and dry finish. Simple yet good.
