Less distro on this than the other Sidre I guess. Strange that I wouldn't have had it before. 2021 vintage, 6.5%. Lo-ball glass @home. Slow moving volcano. Clear, bright, honey amber, delicate foam. Mineral-y, earthy, lettuce-y, macerated apples, a little twinge of sweet barnyard. Bittersweet with some mild sharps, very mineral-y, white grape, grassy, slight earthy-soggy funk, yeasty feels, popsicle stick finish. Is there an extra brut version? This is still kind of sweet. Bit of a headache. Lovely dense & fine bubbles. Good. Great for the price. Just didn't wow me like other Bordelet bottles.

Bottle shared at home, bottle from Etre Gourmet. Near clear golden with little bubbles. Sour and bitter apples, clean, rusty and cellar wet and sour and dry. Over medium sour, quite bitter. Medium body and low carbonation. Pretty rough for a French cider. Sidre must be a nod to Sidra & Cidre. Bit unexpected and not really what I look for in a cider but it is nice in its own right. Pretty strong sour for a cider!

Champagne bottle. Golden, clear, off-white head. Nice dry pear aroma, a bit dry skin, vanilla an barn. Medium body, dry, sparkly. Juicy dry base, a hint gummy bears, otherwise clean fruit, clean finish, very good.

Bottle shared at home, 2016, 7.5% abv. Clear golden with fizzy white head that lasts just a second. Dusty apple peel, tannins notes, dry champagne, soft herbs, earthy notes, quite leafy, more dry grape/champagne notes. Almost no sweetness, light sour and medium bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and quite dry finish. Pretty unique, it’s quite nice in a way but also doesn’t go down as well as most good ciders.

Aroma is slightly rotten apples. Taste is dry sour, quite some tanins. A bit stale and shy. Not much taste. Could have more taste. Very dry. Would not drink a whole bottle.

Bottle. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is pineapple, leathery, red apples, juicy, a touch vanilla, lots of earthy stuff. Taste is apples, pineapple, leathery, a touch vanilla, tannic, dusty in the back. Mineralic carbonation, bone dry finish. Very nice, super drinkable and dry, complex too.
