Pint can. Caramel malt aroma with notes of toffee, toasted malt, bread and nutty malt. Pours clear copper colored with a half a finger of off white head that has little retention and little lacing. Starts with caramel, toffee and bready malt flavors. Finishes smooth and malty with toasted malt and nutty malt flavors. Nice Oktoberfest.

On tap at Bierstadt. Pours copper gold with large frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is toasted malt and biscuit. Slick body, bread, caramel, clean finish, enjoyed this.

16oz can pours out crisp clean copper topped with a sand head. Nose is nice toast nutty touch of grain and some grass. Taste is more of the nice nutty grain grass.

Can. Amber/orange body. Frothy white head. Aroma of caramel, toasted grain, light floral notes. Sweet from beginning to end, with only a light bitterness in the finish. Medium body, syrupy texture. Flavors of caramel, grain. OK, especially if you like really malty sweet Oktoberfests. Clean except for a bit of raw graininess in the aftertaste.

Mug at the brewery - clear light amber - lively pour - clean but rich malt base with some toasty bread crust, light fruitiness, a bit of caramel near the finish - a slight spiciness closes - not quite as complex or rich as I like the style to be, but clean and enjoyable.
