Filtered orange-tan. Nice dry strong hop mouthfeel. A solid US IPA, above par. Full bodied and bittter, the filtration really lets the hops shine.

Draft. Light amber body. Frothy, off-white head. Aroma of leafy hops, flowers, pine, perfume, resin, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Taste of pine, orange peel, light resin. Lingering bitterness. Citrus hop flavors help balance the raw leaf, resin taste. Hint of orange juice in the finish.

On tap at SPSBF. Pours a clear gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is quite dank with note of onion and pine backed by some sweet grains. Flavor again has a good amount of onion and pine with some underlying sweet grains.

I purchased this growler on October 14th at the brewpub when I was driving between Lutsen and Minneapolis. Enjoyed 6 days later. Pour is hazed copper ruby with a a slightly off white head that falls fast. Nice splotchy white lacing as the beer goes down. Aroma of citrus peel - resin bitterness, elements of pineapple fruit, and a nice blast of crystal malt in the back - well balanced IPA. Taste is bitter resin hops out of the gate, then the sharp citrus peel, followed by the resin earthy malt that picks up in the back. As with the nose, the taste is nicely balanced. Palate is medium, dryish finish with lower carbonation, easy to drink. Would have liked to try this on cask (I believe it was available). Nice and fresh IPA.

ABR 2006. This is a good ipa. Loaded with bitter, herbal hops. There is very light citrus in the flavor, but mostly this is a full bodied pale ale and it does a good job at being a simple, straightforward ipa.
