Bottle. Clear, golden body. Frothy, white head, rapidly diminishing. Aroma is sweet, grassy. Notes of cookie, hay and toast. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. The finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. Medium body, thin, watery texture, lively carbonation. First whiff leaves the impression of a promising aroma. But that’s about it. Balance is off. Aftertaste is vegetative and grainy.

Bottle from Trader Joes Short Pump at the 8th Richmond Gathering on 06/06/2009. Clear pale yellow body with a small frothy white head. Big honey and toasty malt aroma, very much cheerios. Light cheerios, honey, toasty malt, some grainy flavor. Light body with moderate carbonation.

Thanks to cbkschubert for the bottle - pours a fizzy, semi-hazy pale gold, but fails to kick up a head - strong noble hop aroma, bordering on skunky, but never quite getting there - rather strong, dry, grassy hops combine with crackery malts to create a nearly chalky, tongue-curling dryness - but somehow the strong hop profile makes this much less unpleasant than it sounds - however, there are other flaws - flavors of metal and pool water arrive late, detracting from the relative tastiness of the hops - man that is sad - oh well, another crappy organic beer.

bottle - Pours hazy yellow with very little head. It has a nice fruity, bread malt aroma. The flavor is bready malt sweetness and a decent hops level. The hops is just bitter without adding much complexity. This brew has a thin, watery palate and a lightly bitter finish. Lacking.

12 oz. bottle from World Market in Charlottesville. Pours a lemon yellow with a huge rocky head. Very grassy aroma. Same with the taste with some bitter hops and light graininess. Medium body.

Golden coloured body with a hazy white colour and a thinnish white head - nice looking for the style though. Aroma of fresh malt, hops and alcohol - very little else. Light-bodied; Sharp alcoholic flavour and honey dominate the flavour with some fresh grassy hops also. Aftertaste shows a lot of hops, some alcohol and a little sweetness - not bad at all. Overall, an actually decent hoppy pils - definitely worth trying! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from World Market in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 24-August-2008.

Bottle from Liquid Solutions. Aroma is lightly sweet, and seems to have diacetyl. Very pale gold color with a decent white head. Medium body with creamy carbonation. The flavor is bready and herbal, and a tad buttery. A variation on noble hop, I suppose. Finish is rather dry, and there is a decent amount of bitter. Actually makes my mouth pucker a bit. Barring herby rather than grassy, this is one heck of a pilsner. With time some floral aspects appear. Wish brewers would put the hop profiles on the labels.

Bottle. Poured very pale with a thin white head. Grassy aroma . Light flavour, better than an industrial beer, but not great. Bready, doughy flavour and doughy finish.
