Fight Fire With Fire is a modern twist on a traditional mild ale. Brewed with a little smoked malt and Brambling Cross hops for an interesting depth of flavour.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Cloudy amber-brown. Yeast, malt, canned olive juice, a bit of sanitizer, sweetish-bitterish and a bit sourish. Bad.

Can picked up from Hoptimism website, Loughborough, Leicestershire UK. Consumed at home Sunday 3rd January 2021 listening to Billy NoMates, cooking Venison Burgers and Chips. Pours dark chestnut brown with a light cappuccino coloured head. Light chocolate notes on both nose and mouth, there is a pleasant fruity tang also. Nice mild, simple but very nice.

440ml can from brewery. Pours quite thin but I have to remind myself this is a mild and not a stout, dark brown, small beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, blackberries, some chocolate. Light bodied but fairly smooth on the palate considering and has a lovely zingy carbonation. Taste is malty, roast, light fruity blackcurrant, chocolate, moderate bitterness and quite dry in the finish with maybe a hint of smoked malt coming through. Its nice to see a modern take on a mild. Enjoyable.
