Bottle shared thanks to SinH4 for the bottle! Black with small dark beige head. Lots of sweet hazelnuts, cocoa, roasted malts, thick sweet hot chocolate, touch of licorice, rye bread, sugary. Quite sweet, medium bitter. Full bodied. Pretty good.

11/12/12/12/10/12

Taster courtesy of Sander, big thanks. black color, small dark coffee colored head. smells breadish at first, nutty, some sherry, hazelnuts, marzipan, light mint notes, some smooth wood notes, light coconut. very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of cocnut, some nutty notes, marzipan, almonds, light mint, hints of booze, wood. finishes lightly boozy with notes of wood, coconut and marzipan notes. very nice one, very smooth, great barrel notes. almost a bit too much carbonation though, very very subtle booze notes.

330 ml waxed bottle from Beer Store Vienna, bb 24.12.2021. Very dark brown body, with a quite small, dense, creamy, dark beige head. Smooth aroma of chocolate fudge, hazelnut, vanilla, some coffee, moderate tobacco, some dark fruits. Tastes amazing, with quite similar aromas, very creamy and smooth. Full, creamy, velvety mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth, warm, creamy, moderate sweet, moderate roasty, with chocolate, hazelnut, some coffee, some cocoa powder, slight tobacco. Delicious! Extremely smooth and creamy, with a dense chocolate and hazelnut liquor character. The balance is outstanding, just enough roastiness and alcohol warmth. Propably my favourite Imperial Stout from Austria so far, world class stuff! Score: 8 / 4 / 9 / 5 / 17

On tap at Ammutsøn, Vienna. Black, small beige head. Aroma is complex fruity, dark fruit, prunes, molasses, blueberries, barrel notes, wood, brandy, spices. This one has it all. Lots of barrel in the flavour, whiskey or brandy, fruit is so nicely developed, strawberry or raspberry jam. Oily and slick, velvety. Very good balance, on the sweeter side. Persistent, lasting finish. Strong. Full body.

0.33 bottle direct from the brewery. Dark black, little head. Super sweet aroma, nutty umami with vanilla and coconut tinges. The flavor is more of the same, very nutty aftertaste. What IBU's? Must be decent as it balances the sweetness amazingly. Well worth it as a dessert bier, just try it. This is an amazing beer.

Dark brown. Aroma is pecanut, hazelnut, dark chocolate, quite some amarena, incredibly complex. Taste is a bit too much cloying sweetness, not too much countering bitterness. Some wood sugars. No alcohol warmth. Still pretty good.
