330ml bottle from my final Euro Swap. Shared at monthly beer share, Chez Sophie. Pours dark, tan head. Boozy aroma, smooth gentle chocolate, hazelnut and vanilla emerging more on the finish than the initial palate. Interesting, decent.

17th May 2021 Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie; four of us splitting 14 beers and eating snacks. A fun evening, although the Polish Strawberry flavoured 'Flips' didn't go down too well. Cheers Mat for this 330ml bottle: BB 24th Dec 2021. Beige foam on a black viscous body. Nutty, malty, bourbony and boozy; nice!

18-01-20 // 330ml shared with the local crew. Waxed. Pours dark dark brown to black with a brown head. Great nose of some hazelnut choco spread with a touch pf booze. Body could be a bit thicker. Chocolate dominant. Milder coffee. Hazelnut is soft. But recoginzable. Indeed a touch hazelnut schnaps like booze. All in all really good but overpriced in comparison. --- Beer merged from original tick of Black Rabbit on 19 Jan 2020 at 00:54 - Score: 8. Bottle gifted by Werckmeister. Black with brown head. Intense chocolate and hazelnut with some vanilla, dark cocoa. Full bodied and rich without being overly sweet. Delicious stuff.

Shared with Beerhunter111 and Koelschtrinker. Smooth fresh beginning. Caramel with wood, nice hints with smooth soft caramel, very mild and smooth, the hazelnut spirit is there, very mild fiting in the picture with the dark roasted stout. Fantastic brew, very well balanced and even easy to drink at this ABV.

Opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, a little dark chocolate and a touch of dark malt cream. Some alcohol spice. Hazelnut liqueur barrel is a new one on me and it’s what attracted me to this in the first place, however the hazlenut influence is pretty light, a bit too light really, not sure I would have spotted it if I hadn’t known it was there. Spicy linger.

Bottle shared at home on the roof, thanks Maakun! Black with light tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, roasted marshmallow, maple syrup, hazle nuts, toasty roasty sweet and bitter and tar dry. Full body and soft carbonation. Very nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Black Rabbit on 12 Jul 2019 at 01:26 - Score: 8. Original review text: Tasty
