Backlog September 2019. Clear amber body with a moderate sized tan head. Aroma is light acidic with dry fruit, plum, caramel and brown sugar. Taste is a bit unusually and interesting with plum, dry fruit, both sweet and sour – actually it tastes a lot like jam. It’s tasty and relatively complex.

Can at home. Pours a deep dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma of balsamico, dates, nuts, oak, bread crust and brown sugar. Flavour of dates, lemon, leather, black currants and forest floor. Has a slick and slightly sparkly mouth feel, light to medium body and a light bitterness. Interesting mix between sour and dark, malty ale. Lots of things going on in the flavour.
