When the gin craze was in full flight we looked across the garden hedge in wonder at its success and with even more bemusement when they started putting cucumber with the stuff. This inspired us to try and tackle that particular vegetable with our cider, refreshing and summery it was a great complement to our eating apple cider and for some it was a huge favourite.

27/3/2020. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear very pale gold with a small short lasting white head. Aroma of semi-sweet apple and light cucumber with a sweet floral edge. Medium sweetness and light tartness. Moderate body. Subtle, and quite enjoyable.

330ml bottle. 2017 Vintage. Pale yellow gold colour, white foam head and aroma of apple & cucumber. Taste is apple, sourish with cucumber, gerkin, salty. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry cucumbery finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle sampled at Cider festival. Clear pale straw with white head. Soft pear, dry apple, light tart grapes, cucumber. Light sweet and tart. Over light bodied. Refreshing.

International Cider Festival 2019. Hazy pale straw with white head. Light sweet and dry apple, light cucumber. Salad. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Bottle (thanks marduk). Street tick, but tasted pale. Aroma and flavor are cucumber, apples, sourness, some sweetness. Overall: I like cucumber, so this is okish.
