330ml bottle into pint glass. mahogany red beer with two fingers of foam on top. Nose is sweet berries and malt. Light carbonation. Full-bodied and viscous. Zingy with a bitter dry fruit finish. Not getting a lot of rum, in fact all alcohol is well hidden. The dry fruit cake notes linger forever. An adult late-night sipper.

Taster at GABS Auckland 2017. Pours dark. Raisins, rum cask, plums, cake. Not my style, but nice enough.
