Tasty, subdued grapefruit, spice hops, pine needles all the way. Dry, tangy, spicy, medium bitter. Smooth and easygoing, with a grapefruit zest finish. On a good day, this is highly drinkable and wonderful. Balance is great.

330 ml bottle, shared by Katie and Arnold, thanks! Orange, hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit zest, pine, moderate tropical fruits, dankness, some oats. Tastes similar, with more bitter grapefruit flesh. Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes medium bitter, quite dry, a bit sweet, pines, a bit resinous, with moderate tropical fruits, lingering grapefruit flesh. Very nice. Lots of fresh grapefruit, while still quite diverse, with other fruits and pine. Really quaffable stuff, lovely grapefruit IPA. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15
