500ml @ Ryan's. Appearance: brown with no head. Aroma: sweet, nuts. Taste: very sweet with a thin body. Overall: overly sweet without a body supporting it, poor integration.

Dark brown, with no head. Nuttiness, coffee notes on the nose. On the palate, it's got a syrupy character, a bit of dark agave, light coffee. The inky, flat body brings the sugars across, but might not bring the macadamia much. It's not bad. A bit thin, and I'm not crazy about the aroma.

Five Boro Craft Beer Fest. Pours black. Chocolate, macadamia, milk chocolate, hazelnut. Thick body. Very sweet, very chocolatey, very nutty, very enjoyable.
