Tap at TCBW. Dark brown colour, no head. Toffee, sweetness in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweet, smooth, toffeish. Ok.

Clear deep dark brown colour with a red hue. Light beige head with a small layer retention. Aroma's: caramel, syrup, sweet/dried and red fruit. Retronasal the fruit is more apparent, a bit estery, and the sweetness more subdued. Flavour is moderate sweet with some toasted bread, still some fruit and light bitterness. Fairly strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Moderate bitter finish. Original review text: Pours a deep dark brown colour and a light beige head with little retention. Aroma: from the glass it's sweet, fudge. Retronasal: sweetish, boozy, whiskey, wood, something strange, herbal? Flavour is moderate sweet, moderate bitter, woody. Medium bodied. Long finish, fruity, caramel, eventually quite bitter.
