473ml can. Hazy, orange golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Zesty, citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, sweet-ish, sugary, wheaty and pale malty background, notes of mandarine, orange, lemon, some orange peel, minimally dusty, yeasty overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally sugary, wheaty and oaty malty, zesty, bitter, citrusy fruity hoppy and slightly dusty yeasty, notes of orange, tangerine, some lemon, orange peel, a.touch of lime. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Relatively bitter for the style, surprisingly watery - decent.

Tap at Taphouse, Copenhagen 27/07/2023 Intense sweet fruity with passionfruit and mango, lychee, some citrus fruity action, dense sweet malty backbone, piney light bitter hoppy finish. Very nice.

Cloudy, pulpy medium orange body, thick puffy off-white to cream head. Nose floral, with tangerine and orange. Body biscuity and citrusy with orange and tangerine pulp and rind, with some spicier floral elements. The hops already seemed a bit faded barely one month after the can date, making the beer seem relatively insubstantial.

Good to drink this pint next to the Centennial version, just to pique my beer nerdiness. Grapefruit, pineapple, passion fruit, and lime sit on top of the same wet grain semi-sweet maltiness. Good in exactly the same way as the other one. Looks like frothy amber milk, as it should. No hop burn. Again, not bad.

Can. Pours a fairly disgusting murky grey brown colour. Strawberry, orange, lime, toffee, sweet juicy finish, a slight grassy cucumber thing at the end. Good body. Would give this a thumbs up if it didn't literally look like shit.

(Can, 0,473 l - canned on 26.02.2019 - fresh by 26.04.2019, thanks brunnsbe, 20190602) The beer poured orange and cloudy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had grapefruit, citricness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with high carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grapefruit, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A nice hoppy brew with light unpleasant palate due the carbonation.

Aromas are Citrus Pine Forest resin, medicinal, a little pale malt. Flavors are like nose, bittersweet with a stronger medicinal finish.

Bottle poured, shared by Tcon25. Thanks! Bottled 6/22/17. Always fun to try the Chicago area beers, especially when they are this fresh. A hazy golden orange pour with a patchy active fizz head. A bit of a dank hop aroma, some citrus peel. A bit of a mellow flavor for an imperial. Creamy, maybe some oats, with orange fruit, and a low bitter that remains. Slightly dry with the grains late. Juicy, and full of flavor. Excellent Citra showcase here. Very nice beer.
