16oz can at SaltFire. Dark amber pour, clear, flat. Sweet aroma, brown sugar, toasty malts. Taste is sweet, brown sugar, toast with a warmth that creeps in about halfway through. Sweet with a lingering heat. Hits hard after drinking 5.0% beers.

This was listed as a BA version but I'm not seeing much evidence that exists but the one I had was also 10.5%. Dark brown, not much head. Heavy rye whiskey, soft malt, light dark malt -base is okay, barrel a bit heavy for the base.

Can from Tavour: pours blackish with dissipating head. Aroma is molasses and caramel. Taste is somewhat sweet, low bitterness. Pleasant body. Slight dark fruitiness. Fizzy in a sense. Fine.

Can from Tavour. Pours a clear, deep brown with tan head that fades to a collar. Chocolate and Heath bar aromas and flavors. Rich malt flavor.

Pint can pours with a mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up roasted malts, malt balls, a spicy kind of blend with fresh stewed dates and then a bit of chocolate. The taste delivers some of the expected flavor players with some roasted malts mixed with an all too microscopically thin layer of sweet dark fruity ester jamminess flowing into some chocolate malt notes. So that's pretty solid. It does come across a little too velvety and imperial like but most of the flavors are there. The only one I'm missing is a hint of earthy tobacco to pull this thing together. Ether way this is still a solid offering.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a transient tan head. Aroma of chocolate, dark burnt malt, and some sort of herb. Arguably full bodied. Flavor is dark burnt malt, chocolate, herbal. Not wholly dry, but drier than not. Burnt malt bitter. Vanilla. Nice flavor.

Can. Pours a clear deep brown with a light brown head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has sweet dark grains and toast with a hint of toffee, light roast and chocolate underlying. Flavor has sweet dark grains, light roast, some notes of toast and chocolate in the finish.
