12 oz. can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose and flavour are pretty dull, with earthiness and cardboardy bready malt. Drinkable at best.

Slightly hazy dull gold. Worty aroma, basic non-alc stuff. Sweet, simple, worty. Throwback non-alc.

Clear golden coloured body with a fairly thick, three centimetre tall off-white and tan head that's billowy and stays afloat nicely above the very clear golden tint. Aroma of bread, light malts, a dash of fruit for sweetness - mainly from the apples and pears, with some caramelised sugars noticeable, too. Light-bodied; Very crisp, dry and sweet with apples being by far the strongest, but a big bready bite and a dash of spices noticeable, but no hops or anything bitter or complex here - this is very easy-drinking. Aftertaste is clean, without any bitterness or range, the malts and bread dominate with the mellow sugars and only a faint dose of spicey notes to help make this robust enough to see it as much more than a glass of juice. Overall, a decent enough option for a Non-Alcoholic drink, but not great compared to others in the style and not really worth drinking at all - pick up something different - a nice seltzer, a mocktail, something...just not this. Decent to try as 'beer' Number two for the month, but not worth buying. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (South Capitol Hill), D.C. on 22-May-2021 for US$2,50, packaged on 09-April-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 02-March-2022.
