Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 31/05/2026.
Moderate haze on a golden to deep orange pour topped with a lasting off white head.
Nose is grass, pineapple, mandarin, straw.
Taste comprises orange zest, grapefruit, sweet edged malts, hop spice, pine resin.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness.
Okay TIPA ... grew on me but comes over a touch sweeter and heavy handed than the better examples of this sub genre.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a little dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth pale malts, a slightly thin creamy sweetness. Hops bring crisp cooling pine, a refreshing edge of bitterness. Juicy and slightly ripe citrus. I'm not a big fan of adding honey to dipas and what not, but here it kinda works. A modest honey richness that enhances rather than dominates. Easy drinking double digit hoppy affair.

US Pint can shared at Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a thin broken white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a fresh, crisp, somewhat rich, juicy tropical citrus, light pineapple, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

16 oz can poured. No can date, but based on most recent ratings, I may have found a can that isn't at its peak. Hazy barleywine for the win. Juicy golden orange haze. Lots of cream head. Aroma has some juicy stone fruit, subtle sweetness, some orange. Very creamy body, but overall smooth for double digits. Some resinous, dusty tropical hip character, and a long, cool melon like finish. Flavorful imperial, and quite tasty.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Cloudy yellow gold color. Frothy white head. Fragrant stone fruit aroma hints at melon, apricot and pear. Flavor upfront is juicy, sweet and tangy. Notes of lemon, passion fruit.and pineapple. Some underlying bitterness from middle on. Finish dries out and leaves you wanting more. That’s a good thing.

Opaque, greyish yellow. Fairly juicy, and sweeter gooseberry, honeydew sort of notes. Mandarin. Not bad, fairly bitter, I think the honey brings that floral sweetness that I like.

16 oz. can, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out fermented out honey, floral and earthy hops, and a touch of chalk. Flavour brings out plenty of honey, tropical fruity notes, and earthy hops. Fermented out honey and sludgy tropical fruits. It's alright.

Can from Hi-Time. Pours slightly dirty, hazy gold with a nice white head. Aroma seems tropical, citrus, earthy. Green melon? Med body or better. Earthy and juicy. Lots of fruity hop - mixed. Maybe melon, passion fruit and citrus. A little earthy. Fairly dry. Nicely, but not harshly bitter. Not really getting honey for flavor, but it's definitely playing on my lips. Interesting, tasty ale.

16oz can from Tavour. Anchorage IPAs usually knock my socks off, and this is no exception. Hazy golden orange body, small fizzy head turns into avspotty cover that leaves streaky lacing. Citrus and dank fight it out for control of the aroma, but its a tie. Taste favors the herbal, grassy, dank hops and the fruity citrus in the aroma turns into citrus peel. Overtly bitter all the way through the finish, subdued sweetness and light floral notes.
