20/11/2020. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear bright gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of tart pear, wood, vanilla, hint of rubber. Light sweetness, moderate bitter and tart. Moderate body, oily texture, above average carbonation. Dry, tart, tannic finish.

Sample, many thanks to danlo! Clear gold appearance. Aroma brings light perry, drying air. Very fine spritz with a gripping acidity on the palate with soft underlying tannin. Fairly dry perry character overall, gentle fruitiness, moderately sweet, expected a little more perry pear character shining through, perhaps a unique German variety, but it's a little timid, pleasant overall tho.

330ml bottle from Kertelreiter. Golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of fruity pear. Taste is fleshy, pear, fruity, pulpy, some vanilla and tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry pear tannic finish. Quite drinkable.
