BRU-1 and Strata dominate proceedings in this full yet light and slightly crisp pale offering. The sister to 300 Laps that oozes grapefruit, pineapple and a skunky dankness. A little bitter bite and a dry finish remind you it's grown up and make you reach for that glass again... and again...and again.

440ml can from Sophie's Beer Store; BB 21st Mar 2021. Drank at home on 8th Dec 2020. Poured into an old Hoegaarden Grand Cru stemmed tulip glass; cloudy yellow, dull yellow, decent white head that hung around. Dank hops with a citrus leaning in both the nose and taste. The beer sweetens a little as it warms in the glass, pineapple esters and flavours arrive to counter the previous more bitter citrus fruitiness.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced via Experiment. Pours cloudy orange-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Pretty good stuff, moderately sweet, some peach, tangerine, melon, light rindy bitterness, pale bread. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Rounded finish, more mellow bready pale malts, citrus fruits, a little oaty note. Tasty.
